Following the release of their album W.O.R.D., Y/O (Yams & Odessa Kane) return with a politically-charged remix of the standout track featuring Scarub (Living Legends), "Stigma." 

This remix is a stark departure from the original. Yams production provides a sonic landscape that leans into the chaotic, wall-of-sound energy reminiscent of the Bomb Squad’s legendary work with Public Enemy and Ice Cube. It’s a dense, urgent canvas designed for the current political climate of 2026. 

While Odessa Kane and Scarub (3MG / 3 Melancholy Gypsys) revisit their original verses, the track is elevated by a brand new verse from Propaganda. This is San Diego and Los Angeles on a track to take the power back from the injustices in the system creating fear and turmoil in our streets. 

THE STORY BEHIND THE VIDEO: In late January 2026, the collective convened in Los Angeles at an Airbnb to bring this vision to life. In a spur of the moment event, Propaganda was added to the track as we started filming the video. He wrote and recorded his entire verse on the spot during the session. 

The raw energy of each artist along with the set created in a tiny garage were captured perfectly by the lens of the Chris G. Cleary Collective. Chris G. Cleary continues to push the boundaries of visual storytelling in the underground hip hop scene with Yams and Odessa videos, "It Was That Time," "Roll Out" and "Skyscrapers."
