This video was shot and edited by @chrisgcleary who brought the vision together for the Mid90s crew. This is underground hip hop and visual art from San Diego, CA. We truly thank everybody who supports us on this journey to make ourselves better people through pushing each other creatively. Through the work together, friends bond, and life becomes just a bit easier. Shout out to the skate parks and skate shops in San Diego. You help keep kids some together to be creative... to feel creative... We hit up 2 skate parks in this shoot. One in Paradise Hills and the other in Barrio Logan. Both down here in South San Diego. We also worked with Slappy's Garage in downtown San Diego to coordinate a skate shop takeover and the vibe and the execution of it all were flawless. Yams and Odessa Kane are from San Diego and both grew up in Southeast San Diego neighborhood of Paradise Hills. In the video, you can find Odessa Kane skating in the same cul-de-sac where he grew up. Now, many years later, Odessa is still skating that cul-de-sac but now he has stories to tell. Partnered with Yams, these cats are a really dope duo that deserves your attention. Sprinkle in Chris Gleary to the mix and you have a stunning visual art piece... yup, i said it, stunning. "It Was That Time" is here... go peep and follow all of these kids across social!
